What day is it?!? Sunday meal prep time!!! Prepped everything I could without making whole meals this time. This weeks chicken pitas, spaghetti squash with ground chicken and tomato sauce, chicken stir fry on rice noodles, steak with sweet tatter mash and obviously eggs in the am’s! Lots of cherries, apples and bananas for snacks. Back on track after a hellish week of emotional ups and downs.
I got asked a lot of ‘how did you lose weight’ lately (never imagined that would happen) and this is the honest truth. I portion EVERYTHING I possibly can. You want to splurge on the healthy option Alfredo? You’re damn well going to make sure you keep it to the serving size you read the label on. Want to have it with rice noodles? You’re going to split that baby up so you only make a portion. If you think you can eyeball it, and you’ve never seen a portion of meat weighed out, you’re probably in for a rude awakening! The honest to god truth is: we over eat. We over eat and then ‘sit around to let it digest’. I started portions and I work out after dinner. Some days a half hour after and some days an hour. I never go to bed full anymore. I go to bed comfortable.
Transformation Tuesday! Trying to keep the pictures at the same spot so they aren’t just angled in my favour. Pretty much the same ‘clothes’ this time as well. No sucking no tucking. Legs are almost identically spaced, so no faking that! Down almost 15 lbs but it’s completely different this time with adding exercises. Usually I lose 10 lbs and don’t fit anything differently because I haven’t worked to tighten problem areas or looseness. This time I’m comfortable in a pair of goal pants and almost into the next pair which are a slim fit of the same size. Top pic April 28, bottom July 15.
